Presenting VR panoramas during events

To present VR panorama images during meetings or events, iOS settings can be tweaked to optimize the experience. Please find these settings below or download a PDF with those settings.

iPhone settings

Prepare download (before event)

  1. Settings / Safari
Tap Clear History and Website Data. This will create space in the browser cache to store the VR image.
  2. In the received email, tap on the link with the title of the image (not the low resolution button). Or open any public VR image on the website: http://vr.mecanoo.nl.
  3. Wait until all data is loaded, give it some time, e.g. the high resolution version of the image is available (important!). Tap the Share button.
  4. Tap the Add to Home Screen button.
  5. An icon will be generated and a title will be entered. Click Add.
  6. The direct link will be available on your home screen. All data is now cached and available offline.

  1. Settings / Display & Brightness
Set the brightness to full and turn off Auto-Brightness. Charge the iPhone to 100%.

At the event
